Anyone's You Bet's outlook on Securty.

First off thanks for the ability to just walk into the front door, on your site.
I also have a couple forums on this server. just to test stuff out, nothing with any problems I just let them go and see what happens.

My server at home is Apache and is buttoned up privately tight. or as open as you want.

Stuff I set up on my Server.

Just a little header redirect , quick painless. html driven by my index.php file.
header Location: http://www.forumotion.com/index.html I took this and put it in a index file and it does two things anyone that asks for my main IP address as a port 80 request it logs there IP and kicks them to this main web site, because of this:
127.0.0.1 - - [15/Oct/2009:20:38:09 -0400] "GET / HTTP/1.1" 302 10705
I got the idea to do this because of the last line, someone spoofed my localhost.
yes 127.o.o.1 is not me.

I have tested the bulletin board software this site uses at home and set up on the net.

I am also testing the windows 7 as a beta tester and provide input to the support team. on that computer I have no access to my other computer thru http, but I can change the files over my LAN using MSHOME and sharing the root directory of the application that runs my server; WAMP.
if any files are changed by anyone that is bad the server senses the check sum is wrong and kicks them out of the site and banns their IP Address.
then I have them sent to you guessed it.

Security is my pet project I would like to see the internet free again, like this site, but there are bad people in this world that just can't help themselves.

Anyway I'm here to learn and help out, I think if we have a little fun too.

I also like
Java --- well some of it.
Html --- simple stuff.
PHP --- just enough to make it secure.
Apache --- same.
PHPBB3 -- I can set up a forum and put it on autopilot.
I am going to school for CNC programing. I am learning Fannic Control G&M coding.

I also am using iMacros to try to setup a program to machine photos to metal parts.
The machine will be like a etch-a-sketch.
